Residence Life Association (RLA)
OU’s Residence Life Association (RLA) is an organization of students living in the residence halls and apartments who provide a voice for residents, and promote community among the various complexes. RLA assists community councils in developing better living communities and creating programs and events where students can interact in a diverse setting on campus.

The Residence Life Association is designed to be an educational experience for those who participate. For students engaged in planning and coordinating Residence Life Association activities, the experience is intended to foster and develop the qualities of leadership, management and cooperation, which when carried out in accordance with the goals of 365英国上市官网, place the activity in the realm of co-curricular activities.

General Body Meeting
General body meetings are held weekly during the academic year. During the 2024-25 academic year, the meetings will take place every Thursday at 7 p.m. in the main lounge at Oak View Hall. Our first meeting is scheduled for September 5!
The RLA office is located in 132 East Vandenberg Hall.

After the 2023-24 academic year, the student organization known as Sustaining Our Planet Earth, or SOPE became part of RLA. 结果是, RLA added two Coordinating Officer of 可持续性 Initiatives positions to the Executive Board to carry on the main functions of SOPE. 另外, RLA has incorporated sustainability as a new core value to continue educating the residential community about sustainability, promoting sustainable practices, and collaborating with 大学的宿舍 leadership to prioritize sustainability in its operations.
